Upper town - Gradec and Kaptol, two medieval settlements that the city of Zagreb grew from and has some of the most important landmarks of the city: The Cathedral (Katedrala Marijinog Uznesenja), Dolac - open market, Tkalčićeva street (Tkalča to locals), Stone Gate, St. Mark’s Church (Crkva Sv. Marka) and more. We’ll enjoy a short ride on a funicular to Ilica Street. The “Green heart of Zagreb” - feel the green pulse of the city

This walking tour presents the area popularly known as the “Green horseshoe”- planned and built at the end of 19th/ beginning of the 20th Century as part of the Lower Town of Zagreb. Our walking tour includes visit to the Botanical Gardens and two interesting museums housed in the imposing buildings of the Lower Town. We’ll also have a short break over a cup of coffee/ tea in a cozy café so you will have time to relax and find out more about the city of Zagreb and Croatia.
